Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished making your selections, click on "Go to Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You will be required to create a customer account, which you can continue to use on subsequent occasions.
Upon placing an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation of your order by email. Upon payment and subsequent dispatch of goods, you will receive an accompanying delivery note and a separate copy of the invoice will be posted to you.

Payments

We accept credit card payment in the form of major credit or debit cards, payment can only be accepted in pounds sterling and the following cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Delta & Switch. Payment can be made automatically using the secure payment service provided on our website, alternatively you can pay by via phone, post (cheques accepted) or email. Goods will remain the property of Nursery Box Ltd until the goods are paid for in full.

Shipping and Handling

All prices stated on the website are exclusive of postage and packaging charges. Our delivery rates are as follows and they will be automatically added to your order at the time of check out. For orders totalling £50.00 or below there is a £2.95 postage and packaging charge. For orders totalling between £50.00 and £200.00 there is a £5.95 postage and packaging charge. Orders totalling £200.00 or more are dispatched free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE If you are an overseas customer, please telephone or email us for a delivery quotation, our standard charges set out as above apply to UK customers only. We are only able to accept online orders for delivery in the UK, deliveries outside of the UK must be arranged with a customer advisor, please call us for further advice and information.

Special Advice to Schools

For schools, nurseries and educational establishments, we are able to offer a standard credit facility. Please make a note of any items you would like to purchase, detailing the product code, quantity required and any additional information such as colour, size etc and simply telephone or fax us to place the order.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you within 5-7 working days. Regretfully, our couriers do not deliver at weekends. Customers are also advised that goods may be held at a local depot and a notification card left at the delivery address if there is no person present to sign receipt of the goods. It will be the customer’s responsibility to arrange the redelivery of the goods by contacting the courier directly.
International orders are subject to individual quotation.

Stock Availability

If your item is out of stock, or if there is a delay in the processing of your order, we will notify you. You will be offered the option of waiting for your goods or alternatively you may cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Cancellation of Order

If, after placing your order with us, you decide you no longer wish to purchase the item, please notify us immediately. If goods have already been dispatched within the specified time frame you will be responsible for paying any further carriage charges incurred in the collection of your unwanted goods.

Tax Charges

All of the products featured on our website are the full retail price. Nursery Box Ltd is currently not VAT registered.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

We aim to guarantee your satisfaction. Please ensure that goods are checked thoroughly upon receipt as claims for damage during transit must be reported within 48 hours. You should also check thoroughly that the contents of your goods, as described on the website, are present and correct. After 48 hours it will be considered that you are satisfied with the goods you have received and that no further action should be taken. However, your statutory customer rights are not affected and any product fault or warranty claim should still be reported.
